Cara Nguyen

Cara is the Sustainability Impact Intern at Kay Tita and is specifically involved with its Impact Bioenergy program. She is currently a first year student at Seattle University studying Economics and is involved in several organizations on campus where she hopes to foster community and fight for social justice. She has been heavily involved in youth leadership programs through her connection to the Rotary family. Originally from Rotary District 5170 in the Bay Area, California, she has served as the Lieutenant Governor and Area Director for her Interact district, allowing her to attend RYLA and two Rotary International Conventions. In the future she hopes to explore the connections between media communications and international economic development.


Srirup Kumar, MBA

Srirup leads Impact Bioenergy in the areas of Education, Community Supported Biocycling (CSB), Operations and Partnerships. He is a 2015 graduate of Presidio Graduate School (formerly Pinchot University) where he received his MBA in Sustainable Business and a certification in Sustainable Energy Solutions. During his graduate studies he served as a due diligence project manager for Element 8 cleantech investors. He sits on the advisory board of a zerowaste NGO. Srirup has more than a decade of technology development and implementation across public, private and non-profit sectors. Before earning his MBA, he graduated from Boston University with a BS degree in Business Administration and MIS.
