David Kaufer is Chief Dynamic Officer of Kaufer CMO & KDMC Marketing, an Edmonds-based firm that provides results-driven marketing leadership, planning, strategy, and program management to healthcare and B2B companies and organizations throughout the US.

Married to his wife Renee for 24 years, David is also the father of 18-year-old twin sons, one of whom (Stone) was diagnosed on the Autism Disorder Spectrum at the age of 3. Stone’s communication was very limited because he was unable to speak due to a condition called Apraxia. In Summer 2022, David learned about the Spelling methodology, which allows non-speakers like Stone to communicate by spelling their thoughts through letterboards and/or keyboards. This discovery has been life-changing for Stone and the rest of the family.

• David is a former member and Past-President of the Edmonds Rotary Club and was responsible for the launch of its Oktoberfest fund-raising event as well as leading the effort to secure $135,000 in funding for the Rotary Room at the Edmonds Waterfront Center in partnership with area Rotary clubs.

• He also led funding effort to secure $250,000 in funding for Edmonds’ new inclusive playground at Civic Park (Mika’s Playground).
