Bio
Jaime is the Executive Director of Sister Schools and brings more than 15 years of experience in global education. She holds a Master’s in International Education Policy from Harvard University and has worked across three continents in a wide range of leadership roles deeply rooted in a commitment to expanding educational opportunity worldwide. Jaime’s journey began in the classroom, teaching primary and secondary students in the United States, Egypt, and China — experiences that ignited her passion for global education and shaped her expertise in bilingual education, particularly in East African contexts. She carried that passion into the nonprofit sector, leading teacher training and program development across South America and Asia before serving as Deputy Director of WorldTeach, where she partnered with governmental and private sector stakeholders to drive educational initiatives in complex and under-resourced communities worldwide. Today, Jaime channels that wealth of experience as Executive Director of Sister Schools, where she works to bridge educational opportunity between students in Uganda and the greater Seattle area. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their three energetic boys.
