Emerald City Rotary Club (ECRC) promotes a membership body that reflects a comprehensive representation of Seattle’s communities. As an ECRC member, you’ll develop life-long relationships with other leaders and professionals as well as contributing to causes both local to Seattle and internationally. Members of ECRC lead or assist international projects that have impact on humanitarian issues and establish contacts with an international network of over 1.2 million professionals.
Benefits of membership include:
- Volunteer and Community Service Opportunities: you will have many opportunities to give back not only to the Seattle area, but to the international community as well.
- Leadership Opportunities: flex your leadership muscles by leading club committees, joining the club board of directors, and running one of our many service projects.
- Networking Opportunities: build lasting relationships with like-minded professionals in Seattle and internationally.
- Special Events: enjoy social events that are exclusive to ECRC members and friends including members-only tours, golfing benefits, and parties.
- Exclusive Presentations: ECRC attracts prominent guest speakers including Seattle mayors and other local leaders, as well as famous personalities like Tom Skerritt and Rick Steves. Members of ECRC have the opportunity to interact with some of the major influencers in our community and around the world.
- Rotarian Action Groups: unite with Rotary members, family members, program participants and alumni who share their expertise in particular fields by collaborating with clubs and districts on projects.
- Rotary Fellowships: members can join an international group of people who share similar interests, hobbies, or vocations–a fun way to make friends around the world.
- The Rotary International Convention: our biggest event of the year where Rotary members from more than 130 countries meet to celebrate our successes and make plans for the future.
